FAQ
Will I need to pay an amount upon booking to hold the date of my session or wedding?
Yes, upon booking and signing a portrait session agreement, there is a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE retainer fee required to hold the time and date of your session. If you need to cancel, this fee will not be refunded. If you are able to postpone your session until another day, the fee will be applied to your entire session amount. The remainder of your amount will be due on the day of your session.
Upon booking and signing a wedding agreement, there is a 25% ($700, $800 and $900) NON-REFUNDABLE retainer amount required to hold the date and time of your wedding. If you need to cancel your wedding, this fee will not be returned to you. If you are able to postpone your wedding date, the fee will be applied to your entire session amount. The remainder of your amount will be due on the day of your wedding.
Do you photograph destination sessions?
Yes, I do!! Please invite me to come photograph for your family, in Texas and outside of Texas. I'll bring the tacos.
What kind of gear do you use?
I photograph with Canon cameras, Canon lenses and a Canon flash. My first ever camera was a keychain pop up viewfinder film trinket camera. It came to me one Christmas when I was a little girl. Although I don't use it to photograph sessions, I loved that camera, and still have it to this day.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You are welcome to order prints through me, and you can also order through a lab of your choice with your personal print release, that is included with your session.
Do you photograph destination weddings?
Yes, and I would be delighted to photograph for you if you are having a wedding in a town or city outside of Houston. My Texas passport is good to go.
What are your travel fees for portrait and wedding sessions outside of the Houston area?
A travel fee of $50 is for portrait + wedding sessions that are surrounding the Houston area including Galveston, Boliver, The Woodlands, Conroe and Montgomery. For a little more beyond the Houston area, including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas + Fort Worth, a travel fee is $250
Will there be a second shooter at my wedding?
A second shooter is available upon special request, and the added charge is between $400 - $600 depending on the package you choose for your wedding day. I would love to bring along a second photographer, if you decide to add one to your package.
